第 1 集 Episode 1
一 间陈 旧的店屋内 传出 “ 的、的 ” 的打乒乓声，何胜武（阿武） 一如往常 ， 一早就 对着墙 打乒乓。 今天是他母亲李明的吉日，父亲何英雄在洗衣店内祭拜亡妻，结果却和邻居麦甜甜吵了起来。原来， 英雄亡妻早年与甜甜同属一乒乓 队，本是好姐妹，后因麦甜甜误伤李明 ，间接导致 李明 意外逝世 。 所以，英雄一直把麦甜甜当“杀妻仇人” 。
甜甜离婚多年，女儿小芬 继承母亲的乒乓事业， 是新世纪球会的主力球员，但成绩平平，始终无法突破第四名，背后人称“阿四”。 这次参加青年杯，她的对手是个新人，“乒乓美少女”马丽安。发掘她的正是甜甜的前夫，有 “ 乒坛败类 ” 之称 的江贤。马丽安 扬言要以直落四局打败小 芬……
It is the death anniversary of He Sheng Wu's (Ah Wu) mother. In his laundry shop, his father, He Ying Xiong, pays his respects to his dead wife, but gets into a quarrel with neighbour Mai Tian Tian instead. Tian Tian was on the same table tennis team as A-Wu's mother, but indirectly caused her death. Thus, Ying Xiong has always treated her as his nemesis.
Tian Tian has been divorced for years, and her daughter, Xiao Fen, is just as passionate about table tennis. She is a main player in the New Generation club, but her skills are only enough to get her a fourth placing. This time, she faces a newbie player, Ma Li An, who was discovered by Tian Tian's ex-husband, Jiang Xian.

比赛当天， 阿武到新世 纪球会收衣，却被经理 叫 着 帮忙到赛场抹地。 阿武 看 着 马丽安的攻势，竟让他看出 她的 球路，小芬却一直无法突破， 输了关键性的最后一局。 小芬向阿武吐苦水 ，阿武不善言辞，只会用“你行的”安慰他。甜甜知道 小芬遭江贤手下球员打败 ， 晴天霹雳，逼小芬加紧苦练 ， 小芬叫苦连天。
英雄半夜被楼下传来的打乒乓声吵醒，下楼查看，惊见无人之下，乒乓无缘无故乱跳，被“灵异现象”吓到面无人色。甜甜母女看见他得糗样，故意说“鬼打乒乓”来吓英雄，英雄更是胆战心惊…
On the day of the match, Ah Wu is at the club collecting the laundry, when he is dragged to mop the competition hall. He observes how Ma Li An plays, and is able to figure out her tactics. However, Xiao Fen isn't as good, and loses to Ma Li An. Xiao Fen confides in Ah Wu. When Tian Tian finds out about Xiao Fen's loss, she immediately forces Xiao Fen to train intensively.
Ying Xiong wakes up in the middle of the night, disturbed by the sound of table tennis playing. He is terrified to see nobody playing, and Tian Tian teases him, saying that it was a ghost playing table tennis.

小芬读“星座运程”，眉开眼笑，原来星座指她今天会碰见真命天子。她满怀希望出门，却在半路遇见色狼， 幸遇 贺家军 相助 。为了攻击色狼， 小芬 的球拍被打 断了 ，家军把自己的球拍借给她。 小芬 球赛 大获全胜， 开心地找家军时，却不见他的踪影。
原来，家 军是 来自中国的乒乓手，这次是奉母亲 之 命来找父亲贺帅。贺帅应新世纪之聘，前来当总教练。他准 备重组球队，要 家军跟着他，承 诺 会让他成为一流高手 。 家军嗤之以鼻，却不得不在母亲的压力下，向贺帅屈服。
Xiao Fen is delighted to read on her horoscope that she will meet her loved one that day. Unexpectedly, she encounters a pervert on the road, but is saved by He Jia Jun. Xiao Fen's table tennis bat is broken when she used it to defend herself against the pervert. Jia Jun lends his bat to Xiao Fen. Xiao Fen emerges victorious in her match, but could not find Jia Jun to thank him.
Jia Jun is a table tennis player from China . His father, He Shuai, is employed by New Generation club to be its coach. He Shuai prepares to reform the team, and wants Jia Jun to follow him, promising to train him into a world-class player. Jia Jun resents his father, but under pressure from his mother, he follows his father to Singapore .

江贤 忽然 出现 在甜甜店里，嬉皮笑脸和甜甜套往日夫妻之情，甜甜气得拿起挫冰器要持他，江 贤才狼狈而退。原来 江贤带了地产公司负责人来视察环境，准备低价收购整排店屋。江贤拍胸口担保能 让甜甜和英雄就范。
小芬答应阿武要陪他练球，却迟迟没出现，让阿武担心苦等。原来，小芬终于再见到家军，对方皮夹不见了，要小芬请他吃饭。为还人情，家军教小芬打球，小芬一再尝试，就忘记了和 阿武 的约定。事后，小芬向阿武道歉，阿武不以为意，说小芬没事就好。
Jiang Xian suddenly appears in Tian Tian's shop and acts friendly with her. Tian Tian chases him away in anger. Jiang Xian is there with the property agent to survey the area; they plan to buy the entire row of shops at a low price.
Ah Wu asks Xiao Fen to practise with him. Xiao Fen promises to show up, but forgets all about their date when she meets Jia Jun. Jia Jun lost his wallet and asks Xiao Fen to give him a treat. In return, he teaches Xiao Fen a special table tennis skill. Xiao Fen is so engrossed, she forgets about the practice session with Ah Wu. Afterwards, Xiao Fen apologises to Ah Wu, but Ah Wu does not take it to heart.

小芬 即将上场比赛，却因为各种原因，毫无信心，迟迟没有出现在赛场。不过， 家军的激励， 让她 鼓起勇气上场， 最终 取得胜利。她 谢谢家军，问怎样才能再见到他，家军只是淡淡地抛下一句： “ 有缘再见。 ”
阿武匆匆赶去看小芬比 赛，途中遇见贺帅找来的新队员－ 张姿宜 。 姿宜 的手臂脱臼， 阿武 欲上前帮忙 ， 却 被姿宜喝止。她自行把上臂 调 回，没事般地离 去 。
英雄被店内的“闹鬼事件”困扰，决定把洗衣店卖了，却被 阿武 和甜甜阻止。甜甜叫儿子小强帮忙调查。次日，英雄进厕所，忽见镜子 一片血红，水喉流出的水，也是血水，顿时昏了过 去……
Xiao Fen is supposed to play at a match; but due to various reasons she grows nervous and does not show up at the competition venue. However, Jia Jun's words motivate her. She gathers her courage and wins the match. She thanks Jia Jun, and asks how she can meet him again. Jia Jun answers casually, “We'll meet if fate beholds.”
Ah Wu rushes to watch Xiao Fen's match, and bumps into Zhang Zi Yi on the way. He sees that Zi Yi has dislocated her shoulder and offers to help. Zi Yi rejects, fixes her shoulder on her own, and leaves as if nothing has happened.
Ying Xiong is troubled the ghostly incidents in his shop, and is persuaded to sell his shop, only to be stopped by his son and Tian Tian. Tian Tian asks her son to investigate. The next day, Ying Xiong enters the toilet and faints upon seeing blood-red water flowing out from the tap

小芬想起即将来临的半决赛，不禁心烦意乱。小强认为以妹妹的水准不可能打出一个春天来，劝她趁此机会跟乒乓一拍两散！小芬表示新教练已表明，无法进入三甲就要被淘汰。阿武不同意小强的意见，鼓励小芬不要临阵退缩，小芬决心背水一战。
Xiao Fen gets anxious just thinking about the semi-finals. Xiao Qiang doubts Xiao Fen's capability and even suggests she quit the sport for good! Ah Wu is strongly against Xiao Qiang's view point and continues to encourage Xiao Fen to keep fighting on.

小芬借故找家军，要他再传绝招，并猜测家军是贺帅的学生。家军叫小芬不要提起贺帅这个名字，小芬感奇怪。家军知道小芬的半决赛对手是刘娟，不禁心头一凛，因为刘娟在中国小有名气，扣杀力度比男球员有过之而无不及，家军替小芬担心。
Xiao Fen looks Jia Jun up and requests for him to coach her, having guessed that he is He Shuai's students. Xiao Fen is perplexed when Jia Jun forbids her from bringing He Shuai's name up. When Jia Jun finds out that Xiao Fen's opponent is none other than Liu Juan, he is worried for her as Liu Juan is pretty well-known back in China .

小芬带病上阵，刘娟故意把球挑高，让小芬扣杀，以消耗小芬的体力，可惜小芬看不出对方的目的。小芬先胜后衰，刘娟开始重拳出击，把她压着来打。阿武担心刘娟使出的招数果然一一出现，甜甜疑惑阿武怎么会有如此“未卜先知”的能力。
Xiao Fen falls ill but carries forth with the competition. Competitor Liu Juan deliberately raises the serving ball high, intending to catch Xiao Fen off guard. Xiao Fen fails to see through to Liu Juan's plan. All the moves that Ah Wu predicted Liu Juan would use did appear, and this made Tian Tian ponder about his ability to foresee opponents' plans before they are even executed.

英雄终于将乒乓桌留了下来， 还 亲自 动手维修 ，父子间的 一场风波总算过去。马丽安 艰苦训练，连男陪练也不支倒地。江贤不知马丽安内心里有股复仇的 火焰在燃烧， 还以为自己深具慧眼，在 球会老板 、 年 轻富豪 Richard 面前更是洋洋得意。
Yingxiong decides to keep the table tennis table and even has it repaired. Ma Li An trains hard, Jiangxian is unaware that she has her own agenda and thinks highly of himself.
第 10 集 Episode 10
全国青年乒乓公开赛掀开战幕，小芬在名次赛中对垒前届冠军姚恩慧。这一仗不只决定小芬在新世纪的去留，也试探她能否打破 “ 阿四 ” 的魔咒。开战后小芬球艺不顺，连连失分。阿武全神贯注地观察，家军发现他竟能看透对手的球路，感到震惊。
The Competition begins and this will determine if Xiaofen can break her No. 4 curse. Xiaofen does not perform well and is losing points. Ah Wu on the other hand is concentrating on the game and to Jiajun's surprise, he discovers Ah Wu is able to see through Xiao Fen's opponent's moves.
第 11 集 Episode 11
阿武窥视家军等人的练球情形，对于各人的球艺叹为观止。 大地 却对贺帅和家军等极尽讥讽之能事，并告诉阿武，像他们那样打乒乓已经落伍了。阿武不禁有兴趣知道大地的 “ 不落伍 ” 的乒乓是怎么打的，大地要阿武请他喝酒，才告诉他。
Ah Wu is interested in finding out more from Dadi's after he mocks at Ah Wu's outdated techniques. Dadi tells him he will only reveal his secrets after Ah Wu buys him a drink.
第 12 集 Episode 12
阿信一早来 找甜甜， 英雄无意间 听见甜甜提及 “ 孩子是无辜 的 ” ， 马上断定甜甜被阿信诱奸成孕，又 见阿信拿了一千块 钱 给甜甜， 又认定 他 想用金 钱打发甜甜去堕胎，气得冲 上前 去要 教训这个无情汉， 后才知是 误会一场。
Yingxiong overhears Ah Xin and Tian Tian's conversation and thinks Ah Xin is asking Tian Tian to go for an abortion. He rushes up to teach Ah Xin a lesson only to find out it's a misunderstanding.
第 13 集 Episode 13
新世 纪招 考 新队员， Akira 拉阿武去 报名，阿武不肯，说已拜大地为师。 Akira 说 不能跟 酒鬼认真，自行帮阿武报名。 多数 应试者 都败在 刘云 拍下， Akira 也自忖难逃被宰命运，阿武却已看出刘云的球路，指示 Akira 应对之法 ，帮 Akira 顺利进入初选。
Team New Century is recruiting and Akira drags Ah Wu to register for it. Ah Wu refuses saying he has already acknowledged Dadi as his teacher. During the try-outs, Liu Yun defeats all his opponents and Akira is afraid he will suffer the same fate. However, Ah Wu is able to see through Liu Yun's moves and this helps Akira to move to the next stage.
